Has the death knell for LightSquared arrived? The latest legislation signed by President Obama has a portion dedicated to GPS interference by ground-based data services. For ground-based data systems to exist, they must prove that they do not interfere with GPS. With Sprint putting its investment in LightSquared on hold, LightSquared is facing a major challenge.
